Bridal Details Checklist

You’ve spent months, maybe even years, dreaming up all of the details for your wedding day. Let’s make sure those details don’t go unnoticed!

At the start of your wedding day, you’ll want to make sure you’ve gathered these essential items. Continue reading for additional suggestions and valuable tips to elevate your detail photos!

The Essentials:

  1. Bridal Gown
  2. Veil
  3. Shoes
  4. Garter
  5. Jewelry
  6. Perfume
  7. All 3 Rings
  8. Invitation Suite
  9. Bouquets + Extra Florals
  10. Boutonnières

Extra Items:

  1. Heirlooms
    1. Do you have any special heirloom items like your grandmother’s wedding ring or a special handkerchief that are a part of your wedding? Include them with your bridal details to be captured!
  2. Coordinating Paper
    1. If there are any other paper items that coordinate with your invitation suite, feel free to include those too! Things like save the dates, ceremony programs, custom menus, table numbers, place cards, vow books, etc.
  3. Loose Flowers
    1. Loose flowers and greenery make such a lovely addition to bridal detail photos! Ask your florist to include some loose florals and greenery with the bouquet delivery!
  4. Vows
    1. If you have personal hand-written vows and/or vow books, I’d love to include those in the detail photos.
  5. Groom Details
    1. You can also include any special groom details that you’d like photographed! Things like cuff links, tie, shoes, tie clip, colon, etc.

Helpful Tips:

  1. Flower Delivery
    1. Have the bouquets, boutonnières and loose florals delivered to your getting ready location 30 minutes before I am scheduled to arrive to ensure they are ready to go when I get there!
  2. Invitation Suite
    1. If there are any pieces of your invitation suite that are double-sided, include two copies so that each side can be photographed in a single image. Also consider including both blank and addressed envelopes to give me more options for styling!
  3. Delegate
    1. The key to a stress-free wedding day is to delegate tasks! Assign a bridesmaid with the task of knowing where the detail items are and getting them to me when I arrive on the wedding day so you don’t have to worry about it!

I will come prepared with ring boxes, trays, ribbon, and other styling items, but if you would like to add more personal styling items, I’d love to incorporate them for you.

Here is the entire list again for easy reference!
