Hosting and attending photography retreats has always been one of my favorite ways to connect with photographers and push the boundaries of our creativity. Our most recent Revel & Grace Retreat was in the DFW area, and it was no exception, offering a fantastic opportunity to photograph a styled session that was nothing short of luxurious. The vibrant and colorful decorations, alongside the beautifully curated flat lays, set the stage for an unforgettable experience. The mix of luxury and creativity made this session visually stunning and a great outlet for our artistic ideas.

The detail shots from the session were perfect for summer weddings. The colorful decorations and playful designs added a fresh and lively touch to every photo. Each flat lay was styled to capture the beauty of summer with bright hues and bold patterns that popped beautifully. The shots not only highlighted the fun and elegance of summer celebrations but also made each image feel unique and full of character. It was a pleasure to capture these vibrant details and see them come to life in the photos.

Alexis

Next, we had Alexis, our solo bride, who brought a touch of sophistication and luxury to her shoot. Her editorial-style photos were a perfect fit for the retreat’s theme, showcasing her elegance and poise. The setting and her stunning presence made for a glamorous series of images. Capturing her style was a standout moment of the retreat and added a beautiful contrast to the day’s sessions.

Krystalle + Vince

Krystalle and Vince were our vibrant and fun couple, bringing a burst of energy to their session. Their shoot was filled with spontaneous moments and genuine laughter, making it a summer dream come true. The joy they radiated was infectious, and their playful personalities shone through in every candid shot. Their session was a highlight of the retreat, capturing the essence of summer with a colorful and dynamic vibe. The vibrant and fun atmosphere they created made their photos stand out as joyful and memorable.

Ashley + Brett

Next, we had Ashley and Brett, who went for a more neutral and traditional look. Their photos, taken outside a beautiful church, were elegant and timeless. The classic backdrop highlighted their love and the beauty of their union. Their session felt sophisticated and romantic, capturing the simple beauty of their connection. Each shot reflected their commitment and the serene elegance of their surroundings, making their photos a cherished part of the retreat.

Finally, working with such talented individuals made the DFW Wedding Retreat an incredible experience. The opportunity to collaborate with others who share a passion for photography is always inspiring. Each person brought their unique style and energy, making the sessions diverse and engaging. I loved seeing how different couples brought their own charm to the day. The creativity and professionalism of everyone involved made the event a success. I’m grateful for the chance to work with such a fantastic group of people. The retreat offered a chance to learn, grow, and be inspired. I’m already looking forward to future retreats and the new adventures they’ll bring. The experience was a wonderful reminder of why I love photography and the creative community.
