Alivia and Hudson’s romantic canoe couples session was an absolute dream!

When I bought my lake cabin, it came with this canoe and I just knew it would be perfect for a couples shoot. As I got to know Alivia, she mentioned that they have a lake cabin on the same lake as me! So when we were planning this photoshoot for her and Hudson, I mentioned the idea of shooting here and they were so down. 

I couldn’t help but feel like we were in a scene straight out of The Notebook. They were so natural together, sharing playful moments as they paddled along. These two are so comfortable they were in each other’s presence, which set the tone for them to feel completely at ease.

Their choice of simple white T-shirts and denim jeans was perfect and so them! It was those little moments that made the session special, like when Hudson would whisper something funny to Alivia that made her smile. Their laughter and playful teasing created a lighthearted mood that made my job easy. These genuine interactions made the photos feel real and reflected how well they connected with each other.

This romantic canoe couples session was a great reminder of why it’s important to do things that reflect who you are as a couple. When you focus on what you love, it really shows in the photos. Alivia and Hudson made it easy for me to capture their personalities in a way that felt true to them. This session shows just how important it is to choose activities that reflect your personality as a couple. When you do things that feel true to you, it not only makes the experience enjoyable but also results in genuine photos.
