Fargo maternity photos are such a sweet way to document the season before your family grows. Maternity sessions often focus on the mom-to-be, which I absolutely love, but including your partner and children makes these photos even more meaningful.

One of my favorite things about photographing families is capturing them exactly as they are. When you’re expecting another baby, life is about to look a little different! I think there’s something so special about having photos of your family before that next chapter begins.

What Makes a Family Maternity Session So Special?

When you include your partner or older children in your maternity photos, you’re documenting more than just your pregnancy. You’re capturing the excitement of becoming parents again, the sweet interactions between siblings, and what your family looked like before everything changed.

And these sessions don’t need to feel overly posed or formal. I actually love when kids get to be kids! Some of my favorite photographs happen when everyone is simply laughing, playing, or spending time together. Those little, in between moments make a gallery feel personal.

Of course, we’ll still make time for portraits of just you and your bump! Including your family doesn’t mean giving up those individual maternity photos. It simply gives us the opportunity to capture more of your story.
