Hey there! I’m Liv! 

I was born and raised in a small town outside of Fargo, North Dakota, but I have always longed to travel and explore as much of this world as possible. 

From a young age, I knew I wanted to go somewhere totally different for college than what I was used to. So when I was 18 years old, I packed up my things and moved across the country to Phoenix, Arizona, where I attended Grand Canyon University. This was truly the best decision of my life! I fell in love with the Christian community at GCU and built a lot of amazing lifelong friendships (the sunny all year round weather definitely helps as well!). 

I graduated in the Spring of 2023 with a major in Marketing & Advertising with a minor in Graphic Design. 

During my senior year of college, I debated if I should continue the path of photography that I had been doing since I was 15 years old, or take a break and pursue a more “steady” job at a marketing agency. When I started photography, I honestly didn’t have intentions of making it my full-time job. I was just doing it because I loved it and it just so happened to also be a good source of income! As much as I love photography, I have always really loved the marketing/advertising world of work as well. 

After a lot of prayers, the Lord made it clear that my purpose is to continue serving people through my photography business, and I am so glad I listened to Him! I absolutely love my job and I feel so blessed. 

My heart lives in two states, but unfortunately my body can’t be in two places at once, so I have to choose where I want to spend my time! However, I have amazing clients in both ND and AZ that make it possible for me to split my time in both states. 

At this point in my life, you can find me in Tempe, Arizona primarily in the months of October-June and Fargo, North Dakota in the months of June-September (talk about best of both worlds!). 

I accept weddings in both states throughout the whole year, so even if I am in Arizona but your wedding is in Fargo, I am more than happy to fly back for it (and vice versa). 

As I previously mentioned, I adore traveling! This is why destination weddings are so much fun for me. Take me anywhere you dream of, and we’ll have a blast capturing your whole weekend of festivities. 

Now that you know about my work life, I’ll tell you a bit more about my personal life!

1. I’m a big Jesus girlie and love to talk about the Lord’s faithfulness any chance I get! 

2. I am also a big swiftie – you can almost always find me jamming to Tay while editing, in the car, getting ready, really at any moment. Other favorite musicians include LANY, Kelsea Ballerini, Morgan Wallen, Chelsea Cutler, and Zach Bryan.

3. My favorite type of food would 10000% be Mexican. Give me a carne asada taco, chips and queso, and a margarita and I am one happy girl. 

4. After graduating college, I spent a month traveling throughout Europe, and I can’t wait to go back. I went to London, Dublin, Amsterdam, Paris, Milan, Lake Como, Venice, Florence, Tuscany, Amalfi Coast, and Rome! This was my second time to Europe, the first being when I was 16 years old with my best friends for a high school trip through EF Tours. That time, we went to Barcelona, Nice, Monaco, and Cinque Terre. I’m always planning another trip, so if you have any suggestions, I’m all ears! Maybe Bali next? 😉 

5. My favorite part about my job has been the friendships that have come from it. It’s so much fun being around the same age as most of my clients! Whether it’s a past senior or current bride, I have been able to connect and create real friendships with multiple clients.
