"Live by grace, through faith."
Meet Olivia — a North Dakota native deeply inspired by a love for travel. Throughout our time together, I'll be your photographer, hype woman, stylist, and friend all in one. Let's get to know each other!

Engagement photos are such a beautiful way to document this season before the wedding. Allison and Nicholas’s engagement session in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota, was a sweet reminder of why I love getting to spend time with my couples before their big day!
As a Fargo and Minneapolis wedding photographer, I love getting to photograph couples in places that feel meaningful to them. Detroit Lakes is such a beautiful setting for engagement photos, and I love that it’s an option for couples throughout the Fargo-Moorhead area and Minnesota.
Engagement sessions are one of my favorite parts of the wedding photography experience. There’s no timeline to keep up with, no guests waiting for you, and no pressure to make every moment perfect. We get to spend time together, get comfortable in front of the camera, and create photos that feel like you. Honestly, I think that’s one of the biggest reasons to book an engagement session!

One of the best things about an engagement session is getting to know each other before the wedding day. I get to see how you naturally interact, what makes you laugh, and how you feel most comfortable being photographed.
You also get to experience what it’s like to be in front of my camera. By the time your wedding arrives, it won’t feel like we’re starting from scratch. You’ll already know how I guide you through portraits, and we can focus on enjoying the day.
I never want engagement photos to feel overly posed or like you’re trying to recreate someone else’s Pinterest board. I’ll always help with direction, but I also want to leave room for the little interactions that happen naturally. That’s what I love about sessions like Allison and Nicholas’s. We get to create beautiful photographs while documenting a season that deserves to be remembered on its own.

There are so many beautiful places for engagement photos throughout Minnesota and North Dakota. While I photograph couples in Fargo and Minneapolis, I also love traveling to locations like Detroit Lakes. Detroit Lakes offers a different setting from a downtown engagement session. Its lakeside scenery and outdoor spaces make it a great option for couples who love being outside or want something relaxed.
I always encourage couples to choose a location that fits their relationship. Maybe that’s somewhere you’ve spent time together, a favorite part of your city, a date night spot, or a place you’ve always wanted to visit. You don’t have to choose the most elaborate location to create meaningful photographs. Sometimes a beautiful setting and a little time together are all you need. You don’t have to come up with the plan on your own. I am happy to guide you through picking the best locations for the two of you!
As a Fargo engagement photographer, I love having the flexibility to travel throughout the region. Whether we’re photographing in downtown Fargo, Detroit Lakes, or Minneapolis, the goal is always the same. I want your photos to feel like you.

Your engagement is such a short season in the bigger picture of your relationship. Between wedding planning, work, and everyday life, it’s easy to forget to slow down and enjoy it.
That’s why I love engagement sessions so much. They give you a reason to spend time together and create something you’ll have long after the wedding. Allison and Nicholas’s Detroit Lakes engagement photos were such a sweet part of documenting this season, and I’m so thankful I got to photograph them.
If you’re looking for a Fargo or Minneapolis engagement and wedding photographer, I’d love to document your story. Whether you’re planning a session in Detroit Lakes, getting married in Minnesota, or celebrating somewhere beyond, let’s create photographs that feel true to you.
